Cookie policy

  1. General considerations

Data relating to use of the Site

Certain technical information may be collected during the Internet user's/User's navigation on the Site, such as the Internet user's/User's browser version (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.), the type of operating system used (Linux, Windows, Mac Os, etc.) and the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the computer used, in order to adapt the presentation and ergonomics of the Site to the technical specificities of the Internet user's/User's terminal.

Cookies issued on the Site

A cookie is a file that CHARENTES IN FLOW may record on the hard drive of the Internet user's/User's terminal through their Internet browser when the Internet user/User uses the Site, subject to their agreement or unless opposition from him. Only the issuer of a cookie is likely to read or modify the information contained therein.

CHARENTES IN FLOW uses cookies, intended to store information identifying Internet users/Users during consultation of the Site in order to facilitate the browsing experience on the latter, subject to the choices that the Internet user/User has expressed concerning cookies and which he can modify at any time. In particular, the Internet user/User has the possibility of opposing the recording of these cookies by modifying the options of his Internet browsing software. On this point, see the advice for modifying these options depending on the browser used, accessible on the website of the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés: www.cnil.fr.

The cookies issued on the Site allow:

  • to adapt the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of the Internet user's/User's terminal (language used, display resolution, operating system used, etc.) when using the Site, depending on the viewing hardware and software or reading that its terminal includes;
  • to establish statistics and measurements of attendance and use of the various elements making up the Site (sections and content visited, routes, etc.), allowing CHARENTES IN FLOW to improve the interest and ergonomics of the Site;
  • to memorize information relating to a form that the Internet user/User completed when using the Site (registration or access to their account);

The cookies issued on the Site are session cookies (whose duration is limited to the time of a connection to the Site) and persistent cookies (whose duration, however limited, is greater than the duration of a connection).

Session cookies are only active for the duration of the Internet/User's visit and are deleted when they close their browser. Persistent cookies remain saved on the hard drive of the Internet user's/User's terminal once his/her browser is closed, until he/she or his/her browser software purges them after a certain period of time or at any time.

Cookies from third parties

When an Internet user/User browses the Site, cookies from third party companies may be placed on the latter's computer, unless they have objected to this by configuring the parameters of their browsing software under the conditions described in paragraph below. The purpose of these cookies is to identify the products or services consulted on the Site and to collect navigation data in order to personalize the advertising offer that could be presented to the Internet user/User outside the Site. As part of this type of advertising partnership, the Site may be required to transmit to the partner anonymous browsing data concerning the products or services consulted by the Internet user/User while browsing the Site.

The Internet User's/User's choices regarding cookies

Several possibilities are offered to the Internet user/User to manage cookies. Any settings that the Internet user/User may undertake may modify their browsing on the Internet and their conditions of access to certain services requiring the use of cookies. The Internet user/User can configure their browsing software so that cookies are saved in their terminal or, on the contrary, rejected, either systematically or depending on their issuer. The Internet user/User can also configure his browser software so that the acceptance or refusal of cookies is offered to him from time to time, before a cookie is likely to be recorded on his terminal. The help menu of their browser will allow them to know how to express or modify their cookie preferences:

CHARENTES IN FLOW uses in particular “technical” cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. If the Internet user/User refuses the recording of cookies in his terminal, or if he deletes those stored there, the Internet user/User will no longer be able to benefit from a certain number of functionalities which are nevertheless necessary to navigate in certain areas of the Site.

Where applicable, CHARENTES IN FLOW declines all responsibility for the consequences linked to the degraded functioning of the Site resulting from the impossibility for CHARENTES IN FLOW to record or consult the cookies necessary for their operation and which the Internet user/User would have refused or deleted.

  • Shelf life of cookies

In accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL, the maximum retention period for cookies is a maximum of 13 months after their first deposit in the User's terminal, as is the duration of the validity of the User's consent to the use of these cookies.

The lifespan of cookies is not extended with each visit. The User's consent must therefore be renewed at the end of this period.

  •  Purpose of cookies

You are informed that the Publisher may place cookies on your terminal. The cookie records information relating to navigation on the service (the pages you have consulted, the date and time of the consultation, etc.) which we can read during your subsequent visits.

  •  Right of the User to refuse cookies, deactivation leading to degraded functioning of the service

If you do not want cookies to be used on your device, most browsers allow you to disable cookies through the settings options. However, you are informed that certain services may no longer function correctly.
