Buy onlineWith the arrival of spring, the colorful cabins of this pretty wild island happily prepare to welcome visitors.
Treat yourself to a stay in a colorful Les Marinières gîte in the heart of Boyardville with all the necessary comfort. Swap your car for the duration of your stay for bikes, and set off to explore the island. We have put together the best addresses in the Château and St-Tro' for you to eat with pleasure and charm. A tasting of Pineau des Charentes and oysters? Yes, of course, but first, let yourself be guided by the captain on the Jeannette... *
As a reminder, transport is not included in the price of the stay.
We strongly advise you to use carpooling.
1:45 p.m.: arrival at Boyardville in Marinières. Taking possession of the premises.
2:30 p.m.: once the bikes (with assistance or not) have been collected from the neighbor's, we set off for the unmissable Chassiron lighthouse. You will then have to cycle to the north of the island but what better way to enjoy the landscapes along the way? Once there, take the time to appreciate every detail, the museum and its garden.
4:30 p.m.: before leaving, take a gourmet break at the Crêperie de St-Denis. It will then be time to go to the meeting place for your sea getaway aboard the famous Jeannette.
6 p.m.: departure for an unusual and memorable moment until sunset…
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Cap'tain Simon will then be happy to explain the history, the actors and the landscapes available to you throughout your marine adventure. With a small glass in hand, you will be seduced by the charm and beauty of Oléronaise nature.
8 p.m.: get back in the saddle for the Château where a meal will be offered to you at La Courtine to continue this taste experience.
Return to Les Marinières whenever you want!
9 a.m.: breakfast which you will have the opportunity to have on your private terrace.
10:30 a.m.: you are now more familiar with the history of the island and its local products. We suggest you continue your discovery with a local drinks producer. You can do some shopping there before your return.
12 p.m.: last meeting at La Moule à Facettes (with a view!) for some gratinated oysters, a whole crab or even a good dish of local mussels marinières!

Where: Boyardville (in the center of the island); Saint-Denis is to the north, Le Château & Saint-Trojan are more on the south side.
THE PLACES: they will allow you to gain a little height, like a feeling of dominating the world with the Chassiron lighthouse (46m high anyway!). Then, this impression of immensity will continue on the flow of the Ocean where all your senses will be awakened.
THE ROOMS: the gîtes are all of superior quality (the owners were managers of a 4-star hotel complex for many years on the continent).
EQUIPEMENTS : vêtements adaptés à la saison pour les passages en extérieur (surtout pour le bateau). Vos vélos si vous êtes déjà équipés.
IMPORTANT: Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. To consume with moderation. Fruit juices and water are offered as an alternative to alcoholic products throughout the stay.
